Born to a loving family, I was stolen by an evil count who was owed money by my poor, but noble father. I was, thus, raised in a the French court and brought up as a woman of standing. Unbeknownst to me, the Count had every intent of marrying me once I was of age and I was sentenced to a long and sickening life of innappropriate servitude. It was then that I learned of my adoption and the tragic deaths of my parents by hanging. Naturally, I burst into heartbreaking song and expressed my emotion without so much as a curious glance from my lady's maid... Luckily, a young man, adept at singing at inappropriate times himself, rescued me from my plight and we eloped very dramatically after the young man killed the evil count without consequence. Unfortunately, our love was short lived as I died of consumption and my lover was forced to throw himself from a building from grief.
